About the Role
Based in either Auckland or Christchurch (with free parking) you will be working as part of the Portfolio & Project Delivery team, you will provide key project support and assist with the implementation of system and process improvements within the PMO tool (Sentient).
This role offers great exposure to project management while providing high quality support and guidance across project portfolio governance processes. Your organised, proactive, and positive approach will add value, as will your ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing demands.
This role is perfect for someone who is an excellent multitasker, efficient and organised in nature with a great sense of humour and who lives and breathes teamwork. You will need to be an effective communicator and able to build strong relationships across various levels.
Ideally you will have PMO or Project coordination experience but we are open to administrators with an interest in moving into the project space. Most importantly, you will be technology savvy with the energy and drive to support a busy team.
- Organised, proactive and with the ability to manage multiple competing demands
- Proven experience in administration and supporting programme/project support functions
- Advanced IT skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with financial processes, purchase orders, risk registers, Microsoft project Gantt charts and resource use tracking
