About
the Team:
The
Technology Group is responsible for the effective delivery, management and
services of all technology disciplines within the air navigation services
environment - engineering design, software design and development, technology
architecture and infrastructure, asset management, installation and
maintenance, technical training, workload planning, maintenance program
development, project management, and logistics support.
The South Island Maintenance team consist of Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS) and Electrical Technicians.
About the
Role:
As a result of internal mobility, we have a permanent full-time opportunity for a South Island
Maintenance to join at our Christchurch campus in Burnside.
Reporting
to the South Island Maintenance Manager, this varied role acts as the
administrative point of contact providing support to the manager and the South
Island Maintenance team. This role also provides reception cover on a rostered
basis and contributes to Airways wider Business Support Group.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Arranging, coordinating, and booking travel and meetings
- Supporting new staff induction and on-boarding processes
- Undertaking a range of administration activities which include finance processing, purchase orders and receipting, overseeing lease agreements, fleet management, minute taking and reception cover
- Document management, record keeping and reporting
- Providing
technology support for the team in key office tools.

About You:
Due to the nature of the role and our operations,
you'll be comfortable working in a complex, regulated environment. You will
also hold exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to
engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you will have:
- Proven experience in administration, project coordination or similar
- Excellent IT and computer skills. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Teams and SharePoint (document repository)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong prioritisation skill
- Proactive nature with the ability to prioritise and influence towards meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
- A proactive attitude with a passion for safety and
continuous improvement.
Beneficial:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience gained within aviation, engineering or other technology-based industries
- Experience working with
Adaptive, Dynamics 365 and/or an electronic purchasing and inventory system.
