About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Controller to join the team at Rotorua Tower.
The roster at Rotorua Tower is currently based on four days on, two days off rotating cycle with the average hours of working sitting between 30-40 hours per week.
Airways is an NZ Immigration Accredited Employer. The base salary range sits between $85,472 – $125,125 and will be based off previous experience. Additional roster allowances and superannuation will be offered on top of base salary and are subject to change from time to time, depending on the roster construct, and duties undertaken. These allowances and superannuation contributions may take the total package to between $113,146 – $165,638 (current at time of publication).
To successfully fulfil the requirements of this role you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Air Traffic Control Licence with Aerodrome Rating.
- Proven track record of safe operational performance
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards the job, your team and the organisation
- Good interpersonal and team skills
- Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reflect the Airways values
You should also note:
- Preference will be given to
applicants who hold or have previously held a New Zealand CAR Part 65 Air
Traffic Controller Licence with Aerodrome and Approach Control Procedural
rating/validations
