About the Role
The world of aviation is transforming and here at Airways, we’re on a journey to make our services more responsive, flexible and fit for the future. Key to underpinning those developments is ensuring we have a strong function overseeing the asset lifecycle, with both tactical insight and a strategic vision to enable our teams to increase reliability and deliver more responsive and efficient services. We’re looking for a manager with drive and focus to lead our Asset and Planning team.
In this role you’ll collaborate closely with our Technology Group leadership to align business objectives and activities. You’ll drive improvements in delivery of outcomes across asset management, maintenance, resource, workforce, and programme planning. You’ll define, manage and develop the strategic and tactical frameworks and processes, ensuring alignment with Airways’ strategy.
You’ll apply your significant industry experience in asset management, investment and maintenance planning within the technology, engineering or construction sectors. Your background will include recent, complex planning with advanced knowledge of the application of best practice planning frameworks, ISO55001 and other relevant standard and tools. In terms of personal and leadership qualities, you’re a dynamic leader who knows how to embrace and lead people through change.
