This key role is involved in developing and documenting operational policy, and the setting of standards and procedures. You will research issues in New Zealand and internationally and apply your learning to your day-to-day activity.
You will develop your career by growing your knowledge of air traffic management (ATM) operations, regulatory requirements and ICAO. You need to be self-motivated, able to manage various tasks at once and take a proactive, problem-solving approach to any issue. You need to be able to work through a project from beginning to end and be an excellent team-player while at the same time, prepared to vigorously debate an issue.
To join our team of dedicated professionals, you’ll need:
- Extensive experience (5 years) in aviation preferably within an Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) or a Civil Aviation Authority.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to assess issues, identify the key points and work on solutions – you require a degree of lateral thinking.
- Technical writing skills with experience in reviewing, interpreting and developing operational policies and procedures.
