About the role:
We are looking for a new
Team Leader to lead, empower and support a quality focused team of technicians
responsible for the maintenance of all Communications, Navigation, Surveillance
and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) equipment across Auckland and the Upper
North Island.
With a geographically dispersed team of technicians across the Auckland and Upper North Island, you will manage the day-to-day scheduling, workflow and prioritisation of work activities and drive continuous improvement within the CNS and ATM function, resolving issues and ensuring our mission critical infrastructure is fully operational.
What you will bring:
Joining us, means you’ll work alongside some of the most experienced, talented, and dedicated technicians, you will have the knowledge and communication skills to influence others and a commitment to teamwork, relationship building and supporting others.
- Successful applicants will need to have a relevant engineering qualification, specialising in electronics
- Experience in radio and data communications and an appropriate electrical registration (for example EASQ, EST, or E or I) and practising licence
- Systems-level knowledge of Air Navigation systems and Air Traffic Management equipment
- Exceptional people skills and values that meet or exceed Airways values
- Current New Zealand Drivers Licence and good driving ability, in order to gain an Airport Driving Licence
- Efficient user of MS Office
