The Role

Situated only 45 mins from Wellington is the airfield of Paraparaumu. We have a position available for an exemplary person to join our tight-knit team, as a Flight Service Specialist. 

The successful applicant will be available for initial training in Christchurch or remotely for six weeks at their own cost. Upon successful completion of initial training the individual will permanently be based at Paraparaumu for 10 – 12 weeks of unpaid on the job training, followed by paid permanent employment upon successful completion of training. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following abilities and qualities: 

• Has successfully completed or has the ability to complete the Airways 051 Aviation theory course
• Will be able to manage the safe and efficient delivery of Air Traffic Services.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
• Promote Airways values both within the corporation and externally
  
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
• Has a keen interest in Aviation
