About the Team:
The AIL Training team provides top quality air traffic services (ATS) training for customers globally. As part of the training and selection process, we utilise SureSelect, an inhouse validated, objective and automated solution that assists with selecting the best air traffic control (ATC) candidates using ATC-specific testing.

Reporting to the Head of Air Traffic Services (ATS) Training and consists of air traffic control (ATC) instructors, a training quality manager, a training technology specialist, learning support administrators, a senior operational training & licensing advisor and air traffic services (ATS) training specialists.

About the Role:
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Learning Support Administrator to join our team at our Christchurch based campus. This varied role changes focus throughout the year dependant on business priorities.

Key tasks include:

  • Administration support tied to domestic and international students.
  • End-to-end learning support from initial enquiry to accounts processing, classroom setup, vehicle and travel coordination.
  • Product and service support including account creation & maintenance, system administration, implementing changes and coordinating relevant processes.
  • Coordinate, plan and attend events including recruitment events, career expos and school visits.
  • General administrative tasks such as printing, filing, document management, records management, ordering stationary and related to keep things running smoothly.

About You:
Due to the nature of the role, you’ll be adaptable with great attention to detail and a pro-active approach.

Additionally, you’ll hold:

  • At least a year administrative experience, preferably gained within an aviation, training or education environment.
  • Tertiary qualification (level 6 or higher) in a relevant field.
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Effective time management, organisational and prioritisation skills to meet tight deadlines and varied, changing priorities.
  • Am inquisitive nature and willingness to pitch in as needed to ensure success within the team and business.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic team and business environment, collaborate with people, show resilience and agility, take ownership, and focus on delivering successful outcomes.

Beneficial:

  • Experience in high tempo training environments.
  • Experience in the preparation and editing of presentations and e-Learning content.
