About the Team:
The Safety and Assurance Group is responsible for the governance and assurance of operational and organisational safety, security, risk, crisis management and business continuity planning across Airways.

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced administrator to join us on a permanent part-time basis at 24 hours per week at our Christchurch based campus.

Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistance Safety and Assurance, you’ll provide administrative support for the Safety and Assurance Group. In addition, this role contributes to the Airways wider administration network.

Key tasks include:

  • Arranging meetings, meeting room setup, travel, and catering arrangements
  • Drafting and maintaining documentation, spreadsheets, and systems
  • Arranging, coordinating and reporting related to drug and alcohol testing
  • Assist with on- and offboarding of employees and contractors
  • Processing and/or allocation of invoices and associated tasks
  • Supporting and assisting with projects and events.
  • Maintaining a healthy and vibrant office environment.

About You:
For success you’ll be proactive, an effective communicator and able to work in confidence.

Additionally, you’ll hold:

  • Proven experience in administration, travel management, reporting and prioritising both time and varied work tasks
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Highly beneficial:

  • Experience with Teams, Dynamics and SharePoint
  • Experience gained within the aviation, engineering or other technology-based industries.
